Prayer for Healing from Bitterness

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart that has carried pain for too long.

You see the wounds I hide, the memories that still trouble me, and the bitterness that sometimes grows within my soul. Lord, I do not want to live with anger, resentment, or unforgiveness. I bring these burdens to You today.

Father, please heal my heart. Remove every root of bitterness that has taken hold within me. Wash my spirit with Your mercy and fill the empty places with Your peace and love. Help me release the pain of the past and trust that You are working all things for good.

Give me the grace to forgive those who have hurt me, just as You have forgiven me. When memories return and old feelings rise again, remind me of Your truth and Your compassion. Teach me to respond with patience, kindness, and humility.

Lord, restore my heart and make it new. Replace bitterness with gentleness, anger with understanding, and pain with hope. Let Your Holy Spirit guide me so that I may walk in freedom, joy, and love.

Thank You for Your endless mercy and for the healing that You are bringing into my life.

I place my heart in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.
