 A Prayer to Break the Cycle of Habits 

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart that longs for change. I am weary from walking in the same patterns, repeating the same mistakes, and being trapped in habits that do not honor You or serve my well-being.

Lord, I confess my struggles and my weakness. I acknowledge the hold these habits have on my life, and I ask for Your strength to rise above them. Help me to break free from anything that keeps me distant from Your purpose for me.

Renew my mind and reshape my desires. Where there is addiction, bring healing. Where there is compulsion, bring peace. Where there is failure, bring grace and the courage to try again.

Surround me with Your presence, Lord. Fill the empty spaces that I’ve tried to fill with unhealthy things. Replace my destructive patterns with holy discipline, and remind me daily that I am not bound by the past, but made new in You.

Thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning. With You, I believe lasting change is possible.
