A Prayer for Regret Over Past Mistakes

Heavenly Father,

I come before You burdened by the weight of my past mistakes. I feel the pain of choices I cannot undo and the hurt I may have caused. Lord, I confess my failures and ask for Your mercy and forgiveness.

Help me to release the guilt and shame I hold onto, trusting in Your promise that when I repent, You forgive and remember my sins no more. Teach me, Lord, to learn from my mistakes and to use those lessons to grow into the person You created me to be.

Give me the courage to make amends where I can and the grace to accept what I cannot change. Remind me that my worth is not defined by my failures, but by Your love and the redemption offered through Jesus Christ.

Lord, renew my heart and mind so that I may move forward with hope and purpose. Replace my regret with peace and my sorrow with joy in Your grace. Let my past, no matter how flawed, become a testimony of Your power to transform and heal.

Thank You for being a God of second chances, for loving me despite my shortcomings, and for giving me the strength to start anew. I place my trust in Your unfailing love and surrender my regrets into Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.
