A Prayer for Regret Over Past Failures

Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heart weighed down by the regret of my past failures. I see the moments where I fell short, the opportunities I missed, and the ways I stumbled, and I feel the pain of disappointment within myself. Lord, I bring these burdens to You, trusting in Your mercy and grace.

Thank You for reminding me that failure does not define who I am but is an opportunity for growth and transformation. Help me to see these moments through Your eyes, not as permanent defeats, but as stepping stones toward the purpose You have for me.

Lord, forgive me for the times I have allowed my failures to separate me from You and from others. Heal my heart from the shame and self-doubt that have taken root. Give me the courage to rise again, to learn from my mistakes, and to walk boldly in Your truth.

Help me to trust in Your plan, even when I don't understand the reasons behind my struggles. Strengthen my faith in Your promise that You can turn all things, even my failures, into something good for Your glory.

Thank You, Father, for Your endless patience and love. May I find peace in knowing that You are always with me, guiding me and giving me new opportunities to try again. In Jesus' name, Amen.
