A Prayer for Protection from Evil Desires

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with humility and sincerity, acknowledging my human weaknesses and the temptations that often pull me away from Your perfect will. I ask for Your protection over my heart and mind, guarding me against evil desires that do not align with Your truth.

Purify my thoughts, Lord, and strengthen my spirit to resist the lure of harmful cravings and impulses. When I am tempted, remind me of the greater joy and peace found in walking closely with You. Fill the void within me with Your presence, so there is no space for anything that draws me away from Your love.

Help me to discern what is good, noble, and pure, and empower me to choose what brings glory to Your name. Surround me with Your light, and let Your truth be a shield against every whisper of the enemy.

Thank You for being my refuge and fortress. In moments of weakness, remind me that Your strength is made perfect in my imperfections. I trust in Your power to renew me daily and to lead me on the path of righteousness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
