A Prayer for Change in Priorities

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with an open heart, seeking guidance and strength to realign my life according to Your will. I confess that I often find myself overwhelmed, focused on things that do not bring true fulfillment, and distracted from what really matters. Lord, please grant me the wisdom to discern between what is essential and what is fleeting.

Help me to let go of the need to please everyone and to find my sense of worth in You alone. Teach me to focus not on the temporary, but on what nurtures my soul, strengthens my character, and honors You. Let my choices reflect my love for You and the purpose You have set for my life. Show me how to use my time wisely, to be intentional in my relationships, and to invest in areas that bring peace, joy, and spiritual growth.

Guide me, Lord, in setting priorities that align with Your teachings. May I place love, compassion, and integrity above all else, valuing the connections I share with others and the purpose You've placed in my heart. Give me courage to release distractions and things that no longer serve my journey with You.

Strengthen my resolve, so that each day, I may choose purpose over convenience, faith over fear, and service over self-centeredness. Fill me with Your peace, knowing that as I seek Your kingdom first, all other needs will be met in Your time and Your way.

Thank You, Lord, for Your patience and for guiding me towards a life centered on what truly matters. I trust in Your wisdom and grace, and I surrender my desires and plans to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
