A Prayer for Change in Behavior

Heavenly Father,

I come before You seeking a renewed spirit and a heart open to change. I recognize that my attitude shapes my experiences and affects those around me. Lord, I ask You to cleanse my mind of negativity, resentment, and impatience. Remove from me any thoughts or words that may lead to frustration or harm, and replace them with compassion, empathy, and kindness.

I come before You today, seeking Your divine help and guidance in changing my behavior. I acknowledge the areas of my life where I have fallen short and where my actions have not aligned with the person I strive to be. I recognize that my behavior can affect not only my own life but also the lives of those around me. Lord, I ask for Your strength to overcome the tendencies that lead me astray, and I ask that You transform my heart and mind.

Help me to be more patient, kind, and compassionate in my interactions with others. Teach me to listen with empathy and to speak with care. Remove from me any pride, anger, or selfishness that hinder my growth and relationship with others. Fill me with Your love, so that I may share it freely and unconditionally.

Grant me the wisdom to recognize my patterns and habits that need changing. Give me the courage to make difficult but necessary decisions that lead to growth and peace. Strengthen my resolve, Lord, to choose actions that reflect Your will and honor Your presence in my life.

I pray for the humility to accept correction, the grace to forgive myself, and the discipline to pursue positive change. May Your Holy Spirit empower me each day to live in a way that is pleasing to You.

Thank You, Lord, for Your constant love and forgiveness. May Your grace guide me through this journey of transformation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
